About ChampRival
ChampRival is a free web game of 1v1 knowledge duels about League of Legends, made by a fan in Spain for people who enjoy testing how much they know about the game, alone, with friends or against strangers.
What it offers
- The Ability Challenge, to guess which champion an ability or passive belongs to.
- Champ Rival, a duel to find a secret champion using colour clues.
- The Daily Champion, a new challenge every day, the same for everyone.
- The guides and the How to play page, with information about champions, regions, positions and strategies.
How it is built
ChampRival runs in the browser, with nothing to install and no user accounts. Online games are coordinated by our own server, which picks the secret champions, checks the answers and keeps the time, so nobody can see the answer ahead of time. The clues for each champion (gender, positions, species, resource, region and year) have been reviewed by hand by the person behind the project.
The names, images and abilities of the champions are loaded directly from Data Dragon, Riot Games’ public data service, so they update by themselves with every version of the game. The website is available in Spanish and English.
An unofficial fan project
ChampRival is not endorsed or sponsored by Riot Games. League of Legends and all its content are the property of Riot Games, Inc. The official notices appear in the footer of every page and in the Legal notice.
Privacy
There is no sign-up and we only store in your browser what is strictly necessary (your nickname, language, sound setting and your progress in the daily challenge). We explain it in detail in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy.
